Pengolahan dan Pemanfaatan Terintegrasi Terbitan Berkala Tercetak Pada Era Digital di UPT Perpustakaan USK

Pendahuluan.Terbitan berkala merupakan salah satu jenis bahan pustaka untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka, terbitan berkala terdiri dari berkala digital yang dikenal dengan e- jurnal dengan berbagai penerbit yang sangat terkemuka, namun demikian terbitan berkala tercetak masih tetap diproduksi. Metode penelitian.Pelaksanaan penelitian ini penulis gunakan metode deskriptif dengan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data analisis. Metode pengumpulan diperoleh dari lapangan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumen untuk selanjutnya dianalisis untuk menjelaskan  pemecahan masalah yang ada berdasarkan analisa data di lapangan. Hasil dan Pembahasan. Keseluruhan koleksi UPT perpustakaan USK telah terindeks di mesin pencari google, untuk koleksi tercetak proses pemesanan melalui layanan LSS yang di dukung melalui aplikasi telegram. Kesimpulan. Perpustakaan saat ini masih identik dengan memiliki gedung walaupun kebutuhan dan pengelolaan perpustakaan berbasis virtual sudah sangat familiar, namun keberadaan perpustakaan di dunia nyata masihlah sangat dibutuhkan. Pengelolaan perpustakaan bersistem memudahkan proses bisnis, sehingga perpustakaan selalu dihati pemustaka. Jumlah pemustaka yang memanfaatkan koleksi berkala tercetak terlihat tidak jauh berbeda dari tahun ketahun yakni tahun 2016 sebanyak 2949, tahun 2017 sebanyak 5136 serta pertengahan tahun 2018 sebelum musibah covid 19 sebanyak 2569.

Abstract

Introduction. Periodic publications are one type of library material in meeting the information needs of users, periodicals consist of digital periodicals known as e-journals with various very reputable publishers, however, printed periodicals are still produced.Data Collection Methods. Implementation of this research the author uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data Analysis. The collection method was obtained from the field through observation, interviews, and documents to be further analyzed to explain the solution to existing problems based on data analysis in the field.Results and Discussion. The entire collection of the USK library's UPT has been indexed on the google search engine, for printed collections the ordering process through LSS services is supported through the telegram application.Conclusion. Libraries are currently still synonymous with owning a building, although the needs and management of virtual-based libraries are very familiar, but the existence of libraries in the real world is still very much needed. Systematic library management will facilitate business processes, so that the library will always be in the hearts of users. The number of users who use printed periodicals does not seem much different from year to year, namely in 2016 as many as 2949, in 2017 as many as 5136 and in mid-2018 before the covid 19 disaster as many as 2569.
