Author Guidelines
Author Guidelines
1. This article is the original work of the author and team based on real research results that have not been and will not be published in any media.
2. The article is free from plagiarism including self-plagiarism (Articles are independently reviewed by anti-plagiarism applications)
3. This article contains research related to library and information science (see focus and scope).
4. Articles that are uploaded must be in MSWord format
5. The article uses Indonesian, consists of 3,500-6,000 words, Cambria 11, pt., 1 space, A4 paper (16.25cm x 24.13cm) with an inner margin of 3.05cm and top, bottom, and outer margins of 2.03 cm.
6. The title contains a maximum of 14 words, without abbreviations, 11pt. Cambria, Capital letters in sentences, Bold, Center, 1 space, without subtitles and punctuation.
7. The names of all authors are written in full without abbreviations, without titles, size 11pt. Cambria, Capital Each Word, Bold, Italics, Center, space 1
8. The name of each author's institution only includes the name of the college or company institution. Example: Library and Information Science Study Program, Ar-Raniry State Islamic University Banda Aceh or PT. TelkomIndonesia.
9. Affiliation addresses of all authors consisting of: Faculty/division/department etc., address and email of each author 11pt. Cambria, Capital Each Word, center, space 1
10. Abstract, made in the form of an essay consisting of introduction, objectives, methods, conclusions, written in 1 (one) paragraph, Cambria 11pt, space 1, justify paragraph, 150-250 words, without numbering, made in Indonesian and English.
11. Keywords consist of three to five relevant words/phrases separated by commas.
12. The manuscript consists of 3,500-6,000 words.
13. The use of footnotes for each paragraph uses tabs and consists of: the author's name is written in full without abbreviations, without titles, Title, Publisher and Place of Publication, Year of Publication, page, 9pt, Cambria, Capitalize Each Word, Italic Title, Space 1.
14. Quotations that are more than 3 lines are written in direct quotation style (1 space with indented margins).
15. Each paragraph must use tabs / 7 beats, space 1, justify, 11pt Cambria.
16. The manuscript only consists of INTRODUCTION, METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, REFERENCES.
17. INTRODUCTION must consist of:
1. The introduction must contain (in sequence) a general background and literature review (state of the art) as the basis for new research questions, statements of new scientific articles, main research problems, and hypotheses.
2. background of the problem must be accompanied by supporting data,
3. relevant theoretical/conceptual basis.
18. METHODS must consist of:
1. type of research, (each citation must be attached),
2. subject and object,
3. data collection techniques,
4. data analysis techniques,
5. location and time of research.
19. RESULTS and DISCUSSION must contain:
1. The results obtained from the research must be supported by adequate data.
2. The results must contain at least one table or one figure and a maximum of 6.
3. The source is written on the right side of the table.
4. The table title is placed above the table, Capital letters at the beginning of each word, center margin, 10pt. and spacing 1.
5. The table is made without vertical lines.
6. Images can be graphs, diagrams, schemes, photos. The title, source, and images must be grouped, so that they will not break when the layout is made.
7. The title of the figure must be placed below the figure, capital letters in the sentence, center margin, 10 pt., 1 space, and the source is listed at the bottom of the figure.
20. CONCLUSION contains the research findings. The conclusion must answer the research objectives and provide applicable recommendations. In addition, the conclusion must be written in a paragraph without numbering.
21. REFERENCES
1. Follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition http://www.apastyle.org
2. References consist of primary sources (scientific journals, research reports or conference proceedings and at least 80% of all references) published in the last ten years. Each article must have at least ten references.
ONLINE MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Manuscripts must be submitted through one of two systems (the second submission procedure is preferred):
1. Documents are submitted through the Online Submission System on the E-journal portal of the Information & Library Studies Journal HERE .
2. First of all, the author must register as an author or reviewer (check the role as author or reviewer) in “ Register ”.
3. After the registration steps are complete, log in as an author, click “New Submission”. The stages of submitting an article consist of five stages, namely: (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.
4. In the “ Start ” column, select the Journal Section (Full Article), check all the checklists.
5. In the “ Upload Submission ” column, upload the manuscript file in MSWord format in this column.
6. In the “Enter Metadata” column, fill in all the author and affiliation data. Including Journal Title, Abstract, and Indexing Keywords.
7. In the “Upload Supplementary Files” column, authors are allowed to upload supplementary files, statements, or others.
8. In the “Confirmation” column, if the data you entered is correct, click “Complete Submission”.
