Ar-Raniry: International Journal of Islamic Studies

Ar-Raniry: International Journal of Islamic Studies is a scientific forum to disseminate and publish scholarly writings of scholars both from the State Islamic University (UIN) Ar-Raniry and other universities at the national and international levels. The presence of this journal is intended to respond to the debate in academic issues related to Islamic studies, such as the field of Islamic Education, Al-Quran and Hadith, Islamic Thoughts, Fiqh and Islamic Law, History and Islamic Civilization, Modernity, Language, Islamic literature, and Islamic Communication. It is for this reason that the journal is expected to give a constructive and comprehensive contribution to the enlightenment of Islamic knowledge. This journal is published in two editions annually, in June and December.

Ar-Raniry invites scholars of all backgrounds related to Islamic studies to publish their articles. The articles accepted in the Ar-Raniry are not limited to research reports but also conceptual ideas and book reviews. Manuscripts submitted can be written in either English or Arabic. A small number of exceptionally well-written articles in Indonesian may also be accepted and published.

The first address of the online version of this journal was http://journalarraniry.com. However, since UIN Ar-Raniry had a new policy to unite all journals under one roof, this journal changed the online version address to https://jurnal.ar-raniry.ac.id/index.php/jar started from 2022.
